16 to 19 Tuition Funding

This 16 to 19 Tuition funding will be used to support small group tuition for students in year 12 and 13 who were unsuccessful in gaining grades 4 in either their English or Maths GCSE in year 11.

Support will be delivered either through small group or one to one provision.  Delivery will be via timetabled sessions as part of students' normal school day or additional support offered extra-curricular.  The maximum group size for support will be 5. Some students may receive individual support where this marries with student and staff timetables.

The aim will be to ensure that all students achieve a minimum of grade 4 by Summer 2023, thus allowing all students access to under-graduate degree course should that be their choice of post-18 destination.
