House
At North Bromsgrove High School, the house system is designed to build a strong sense of community, belonging, and healthy competition across the school.
Students are placed into different houses when they join the school and remain in them throughout their time there. Each house brings together students from all year groups, encouraging teamwork, leadership, and positive relationships between younger and older students.
The system is used to promote engagement in a wide range of school activities, including sports competitions, academic challenges, charity events, and enrichment opportunities. Students earn house points for achievements, effort, behaviour, and participation, contributing to their house total across the year.
The house system helps to celebrate success, encourage participation, and develop pride in the school community while supporting students’ personal development both inside and outside the classroom.
