Celebrating the Jubilee in style
North students were excited to celebrate the Queen's Jubilee which all began with form groups. Doors to classrooms began to be decorated and staff planned their Jubilee-linked lessons ready for the day.
It began with the wearing of red, white and blue and being welcomed into school that looked amazing with decorations ranging from balloons to flags to bunting.
The morning lessons were themed and students had a fantastic time with learning linked to the theme of the Jubilee. There was a whole range of subjects exploring lessons in an engaging way for example, in art, students collated a fabulous portrait of the Queen and in English, slam poetry was performed.
Lunch meant that the canteen put on a great show of themed food and fabulous decorations.
For the last lesson of the day, all of years 9 and 10 went outside into the glorious sunshine to be entertained by our singers and musicians - rocking out to Harry Styles and Nirvana! We had games of chess, noughts and crosses and our guest speaker from Bromsgrove's Court Leet to judge our bake off.
With drinks provided, music, sunshine and North spirit, we celebrated the Queen's amazing reign in style.
