Dying 2 Drive
As part of our CARE programme, we focus on road safety and understanding the dangers of driving.
Dying 2 Drive is a road safety scheme aimed at reducing death and serious injury amongst young road users in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It involves a realistic road traffic collision (RTC) reconstruction followed by powerful interactive workshops.
The scheme is aimed at Year 11 students who will currently be road users, whether car passengers, pedestrians, cyclists, and may soon become young drivers.
Our students watched in awe as they saw the effects of a traffic collision and what emergency workers need to do in order to save lives. Students had an informative and thought-provoking follow-up session which we hope makes them grow up and be safe drivers in our Bromsgrove community.
Our thanks go to the local fire station for hosting our students.
