Student Fundraising
Sixth form students at North Bromsgrove have organised to walk from Bromsgrove to Paris, virtually of course!
Students chose Paris and a red-themed non-uniform event to celebrate Valentine's Day but more importantly to raise vital funds for three causes.
The first cause was HB9; Harry was a much-loved member of our local community, and a number of our students knew him well through playing sport.
The second cause will be chosen by North's Year 13 student Sofia Whitcombe, whose Mum recently passed away; the family were raising funds for treatment, but the money raised by this event will instead go to a charity of Sofia's choosing, in honour of her Mum. The final cause is to provide financial support for any sixth form students to enable them to attend the sixth form summer ball in June.
Students completed laps of the school grounds to clock up the 339 miles needed! They also held a cake sale and would like to say thank you to Asda Bromsgrove for donating the cakes and Becca Moncrieff’s mum has spent ages baking and doughnuts that allowed them to do this challenge
