Our students have been raising awareness throughout the national week-long event discussing Children’s Mental Health, by exploring many different issues that children face today.

With the rise of anxiety in society due to the impact of the pandemic, we wanted to address this important issue of mental health to ensure that students felt supported with any issues and reinforced the different avenues available for help. 

This year’s theme for Children's Mental Health Week is ‘Growing Together’ and the concept was inspired by ‘All on the Board’, the transport for London employees who post motivational quotations. The students at school were encouraged to understand where  to go for support and develop independence. 

We have produced a film, which was led by the school's counsellor Mr Pincher, which had important messages for understanding it is good to talk. The school wrote daily inspirational messages and staff displayed them on their doors along with its own 'underground network' of support.
