Une Visite Au Restaurant

Armed with berets as a must, our Year 11 and 10 students stepped into an immersive French restaurant experience last week. From the moment we entered the restaurant, English was forbidden and the lady in charge, Jane (of JLH Languages) even elected our very own Eva to detect breaches of the rule.  

The students listened, learnt and spoke in French for the two-hour period and enjoyed a three-course meal with three choices per course to choose from. Puzzles and challenges kept us all busy during the short break between courses. 

We were really proud of our linguists, who took full part in the experience and showed themselves to be polite and enthusiastic.
