Year 12 students had a fantastic week last week out on Work Experience.  After some activities back in February looking at how to source a placement and the qualities employers would be looking for, students busied themselves sourcing employers and they did not disappoint! Whilst placements in schools, law and health care were particularly popular this year, there were also opportunities to work with the police, at equestrian facilities and in international companies such as NFP in Bromsgrove. 

All of Year 12 found the experience illuminating and agreed that it provided them with a great opportunity to hone their transferable skills. In addition, feedback from the employers has been fantastic, demonstrating that our Year 12 students are hard-working, resilient, engaged team players who make the most of every opportunity. It is also pleasing to note that several of our Year 12s have been invited back for further Work Experience or even internships!
