Basement Project Visit

Yesterday, a group of year 9 and 10 students visited the Basement project on Hanover Street. The charity-run organisation provide support for young people aged 16-25 in Worcestershire who are homeless, facing homelessness or struggling with other issues. Students were given a tour of the property by community fundraiser Kelly Turner, including their drop-in facility safe spaces and food bank. Students are completing a social action fundraising project for the charity alongside Kelvin Batey from the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust.
